Grey-cheeked Thrushes - Scilly and Fair Isle

I've seen my fair shre of Grey-cheeked Thrushes in the UK over the years but there are two in particular that stand out as being the most confiding and most satisfying.

First up is the bird on Scilly in October 2008. Generally it was rather elusive in the fields of Troytown on St. Agnes but I did get some nice views and photos on the 17th & 18th of the month.

The second and perhaps the best of all the Grey-cheeks I have seen in the UK was the bird right next to the Obs on Fair Isle on 24th October 2014.

It was found pre-breakfast and was seen and identified from the back door and went on to perform extremely well along the road above the Obs.
