Whooper Swans

A few fine family parties of Whooper Swans paid a visit to the island when we had North Westerlies with the first being a family group of two adults and gthree juveniles which landed on Da Water. Given the gale force wind the birds were, especially the juveniles, clearly knackered. The juveniles at times were falling asleep and presumably glad to have made landfall.

Further small groups appeared over the following week.
