A lingering and showy Thrush Nightingale on Shetland at Sandgarth in October 2016 was to much of an attraction when I came off of Fair Isle. I had to wait a while for it to show well enought to get decent photos but the 1DX camera performed extremely well at the high ISO's needed in the low light conditions of the area the bird was favouring.
I've seen several 'Sprossers' in the UK but this is by far the most confiding, and it's an autumn bird.
