Pallas's Warbler - Fair Isle October 2019

One of he highlights of my October trip in 2019 was seeing the Pallas's Warbler. This is a difficult bird to see on the island with the last record way back in 2005. I was at Pund when Richard found this striped wonder in Dog Geo so I had a forced stomp to the other end of the island but it was certainly worth it to see this special bird in such a spectacular location, I saw a bluetail here in 2016. After a few hours the bird disappeared but was later refound at Auld Haa in the garden.
