There are five species of Hairstreak in the UK, White-letter, Purple, Green, Brown and Black and I have seen all of them though Brown and Black not for a anumber of years.

Black Hairstreak, Glapthorne
Brown Hairstreak, Pulborough Brooks
Green Hairstreak, Devils Dyke
