Skippers is one of the group of small butterflies where my biggest gaps are, Lulworth Skipper, Checkered Skipper etc all need to be seen.
Some species are limited to certain habitats that have required out of Essex trips, such as Silver-spotted Skipper.
Included here is the Duke of Burgundy which is a MetalMark rather thana a skipper but it is rather skipper like.
